The talks were engaging however we feel the panel was somewhat remiss in not having a presenter from the NSF as they are one of the primary and integral elements of Designing the Future of Clean Growth and Sustainability. Nonetheless, conversations were
thought-provoking.
2019-12-14 to 19 Washington DC –The end-of-year events started off with about 250 of America’s and Washington, DC’s most powerful women, at POLITICO’s, WOMEN RULE. First Lady Trump and Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the Ruling Ladies of Washington.
I made it back before the snow just in time for the multi-million dollar clubs of CEOs, CFOs, VCs, and entrepreneurs from candlestick makers to fashion designers. It is always good to see one of our favorite new ladies, Kristalina Georgieva, she rocks the IMF all the way from the World Bank. Women of Impact are most certainly RUNNING things. Now don’t get me wrong, almost 70% of my college classmates, business associates, and besties are women, all of whom were on par with any man creatively, intellectually and just as audacious. However, when you add creativity, intellect, power, and intrigue to any equation most men come up short or it’s too hard to think about the idea of WOMEN RULE… most men just don’t know it. Later the Annual Dinner for the Society for International Development, to end the holiday event at the National Women’s Museum at a Black Tie Gala.
